Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire 24th October – 1st November 2009
Ghost trails in the Pleasure Gardens, pumpkin carving, face-painting, tours of the State Rooms and stories of the ghosts of the Palace’s past. If you travel with First Great Western you can get two people in for the price of one.
Fireworks spectacular at Beaulieu, Hampshire, 31st October 2009
The annual Fright Night Fireworks is set to music from films such as ‘Psycho’, and ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’. You can get in from 3pm, there’ll be live music and prizes for the best costume.
Family ghost tours at Hampton Court Palace, Surrey 31st October 2009 – March 2010
Halloween can go on for six months at Hampton Court, where someone will always be willing to take you on a ghost tour of the old place. There are stories of Kings and Queens and all the dark hidden spaces of this famous royal seat.
