Home Enterprise Day, which forms the final day of Global Entrepreneurship Week, has been organised to celebrate the achievements of home business owners, and to encourage more people to become their own boss. There are a number of ways you can be involved.

Enterprise Nation has made a nuisance of itself for the past 4 years in trying to have a day dedicated to home business as part of the national week that celebrates enterprise. This year it’s happening and we’ve put on as much activity as we can manage so everyone can be involved. Here’s how:

Entry is free and involves completing one A4 form. Couldn’t be easier! Winners will be announced on Home Enterprise Day and receive thousands of pounds worth of profile and prizes.

Have your say in the 2009 Home Business Survey

Open until Friday, the survey results will be the mainstay of the 2009 Home Business Report that’s closely read by policy people and those in Government who work on enterprise policy. The more evidence we can offer of how great home business is for the economy and environment, the more we’ll be recognised.

Attend on event on the day

We are hosting the Enterprise Nation Conference in London and friends of Enterprise Nation are hosting other great events up and down the UK. We’ll be profiling the events on the site in the next 3 weeks and a special e-news will be coming out one week before the big day with a final round-up of events and activities.

What we’re also readying for Home Enterprise Day is the documentary filmed on the back of the home business roadtrip we took in September. First footage will be played at the Enterprise Nation Conference and then on the site the following week.
