Home Office Gym

Not content with designing everything from lemon squeezers to recyclable televisions, Philippe Starck has now cast his eye over home offices for this year's Milan Design Week.
As you might expect, his 'home gym office' aims to integrate the home gym and the home office into one elegantly seamless shiny product: his designs include a steel office seat, heavy necklaces and bracelets, wall bars (which look rather like bull's horns), natty barbells, and a particularly Starckian skipping rope. There are lots more detailed pictures at designboom.
Of course, not everybody is impressed but it's nice to see the big names of the design world thinking creatively about homeworking lifestyles. - Alex Johnson
