A wireless desk for laptop users

22/06/2009 send to a friend
Many homeworkers use laptops nowadays as either their main computing machine or as a regular standby/backup. There are many problems associated with this (not least overheating laps), but one of the major minor annoyances is the cabling.
Enter the StudioDesk
Bluelounge, who have various nifty products for homeworkers, have just brought out their StudioDesk. Essentially, it's a rather nice, crisp design but with a sliding bit on the white laminate desktop (covered with a faux leather mat) in which you can stuff all your cablesand peripherals. There is a convenient slot so they can snake in an out, but the key point is that it leaves your desktop free from tangles of wire. And it all comes in one flat(ish) box - all you have to do is attach the mahogany legs. Click here for UK retailers. - Alex Johnson
